Roldana aliena (B.L.Rob. & Seaton) Funston (2008:295)

  • Type locality: "Mountains near Pátzcuaro", Michoacán, Mexico
    • As given in Robinson & Seaton (1893:110)
  • Holotype: C.G. Pringle 5056 (GH)

  • Homotypic
  • Heterotypic
    • Senecio chrismarii Greenm. (1914:278)
      • Type locality: "Mexico"
        • "Without definite locality" (Greenman, 1914: 278)
      • Holotype: Chrismar s.n. (B, destroyed; fragment & tracing: GH; photo: F, GH, MICH, MO, NY; tracing: MO)
        • Funston (2008:295) designates it as a lectotype "according to" Art. 8.3, Ex.5 (Saint-Louis Code, 2000), but the example relate to a part "removed from the specimen subsequent to its designation as holotype", creating an isotype. The GH fragment was from the start a part of the holotype as in Ex. 2-4, not an isotype.
