- Holotype: ZMB 48421, adult ♂, collected by Dietmar Emmrich on 7 November 1989.
- Type locality: “montane forest above Morningside (Bondwa Peak area), Uluguru Mountains, Morogoro District, Tanzania, at 1650 m a.s.l. (06°54'S, 37°40'E)”.
