- Holotype: PEM R14921, adult ♀, collected by a local guide on 30 November 1998.
- Type locality: “Ukalini Forest that nestles under the south face of the main Namuli peak, Namuli Massif, Zambézia Province, Mozambique (15°22'S 37°04'E, ca 1550 m a.s.l.)”.
