- Holotype: PEM R17278, adult ♀, collected by J. Bayliss on 1 December 2008.
- Type locality: “in the shrub understorey of evergreen forest on the southeast slopes of Mt. Chiperone Massif, Zambézia Province, Mozambique (16°30'25.9”S, 35°43'33.4”E, ca 1000 m a.s.l.)”.
