Psilorhynchus maculatus Shangningam & Vishwanath, 2013

  • Holotype: MUMF 12084.
  • Paratypes: MUMF 12082-83 (2).

Type locality: India, Manipur state, Ukhrul District, Challou River at Poi Village, 3545 ft above sea level, 25°17'03.93"N, 94°31'42.62"E [1].

Etymology: The specific epithet is derived from Latin maculatus (= spot, stain), with reference to the black blotches on the body and caudal fin.
