Type: BRAZIL. Goiás. along route 70, 119 km NW of Goiânia, 49o55'W, 16o01'S, ca 730 m, on sandstone, T. H. Nash 29320, June 6, 1990 (ASU holotype; CANB, SP isotypes). Paratypes: VENEZUELA. Amazonas. Dept. Río Negro, NW plateau of Cerro de la Neblina, camp # 1, Buck 10667 (B, NY). Buck 10729 (NY), camp #3, Buck 10942 (NY, US); camp 7, Cerro de la Neblina massif, Brako 7687 (NY).
