Protobothrops kaulbacki (Smith, 1940)

  • Syntypes (2): BMNH 1946.1.19.23-24 (formerly 1940.6.1.51-52), ♂ and ♀, collected by Ronald Kaulback between 1937-1939.
  • Type locality: “Trans-Himalayan region on the borders of Tibet and China, to the north of the tribal area generally known as the Triangle”, restricted to “Pangnamdim, north of the Triangle, Upper Burma” by Smith (1943: 512).
