  • Type locality: Ecuador, Galápagos Islands. I. Española. Gardner Bay. dredged in some abundance from a depth of 92 m off a sandy bottom at sta. 204 near an islet.
  • Holotype: W.R. Taylor #34-410; 1934-01-31; Hancock Foundation.
