Name

Pithecopus oreades Brandão, 2002

Type locality: "Serra da Mesa, Goiás State, Brazil (13° 45´ S; 48° 18´ W, 940 m), near 1 km after the first gate of the Serra da Mesa hydroelectric plant, on the road that connects the plant to Minaçu before the Avá-Canoeiros Indian reserve".

Holotype: CHUNB 12510.
