  • Holotype: MCN 2820, adult ♂, collected by A. Laspiur, R. Acosta & J.C. Acosta on 11 May 2008.
  • Type locality: “Quebrada vallecito, 40 km W of Calingasta town, Calingasta department, San Juan province, 31º11’21’’ S; 69º42’15.1’’ W, 3000 m asl”.
