• Holotype: MZUESC 18264, adult ♂, collected by Iuri Dias and Carlos Augusto Souza-Costa on 2 March 2015.
• Type locality: “Serra da Jibóia (12°52′19.08″S, 39°28′53.90″W; 490 m a.s.l.; WGS84), between the municipalities of Santa Terezinha and Elísio Medrado, State of Bahia, Brazil”.
