Name
[edit]Pentaphylacaceae Engl., Nat. Pflanzenfam. Nachtr. [Engler & Prantl] 214 (1897), nom. cons.
- Type genus: Pentaphylax Gardner & Champ.
Note: Archboldiodendron is difficult to place, but according to Rose et al. (2018) is definitely in this family and not in Theaceae, as recommended by Govaerts et al. (2021). It could be nested in Adinandra, but is unlikely to be a synonym of Eurya Rose et al., 2018.
