- Holotype: MNCN 23662, adult ♂, collected by Carmen Díaz-Paniagua and Miguel Tejedo on 26 november 1997.
- Type locality: “Doñana Biological Reserve (36°59′ N, 6°27′ W, elevation 10 m), Province of Huelva (Spain)”.
