Note: Christenhusz et al. (2018) place Smeathmannia Sol. ex R.Br., Account Rafflesia 20. (1821) in synonymy under Barteria Hook.f., J. Proc. Linn. Soc., Bot. 5: 14, t. 2. (1860) without a proposal for conservation. This is contrary to priority ICN Sec. 3 Art 11 and so is incorrect irrespective of the science (Sun et al., 2016 & Tokuosha, 2012) and therefore can not be used here.
