  • Paratype: FSJF 3374 (3). (GenBank accession numbers: KJ723514, KJ723497).

Type locality: Iraq: Erbil prov.: Chami Rean River near Ziraran, 36°56.60' N 44°11.72' E.

Etymology: The species is named for the Great Zab River, the Zab Gawra in Kurdish language.
