Paracheilinus carpenteri Randall & Lubbock, 1981

Holotype: BPBM 22424. [Paratypes: AMS I.20697-001 (1); ANSP 140166 (1); BMNH 1979.1.3.4 (1); BPBM 21156 (2), 22116 (1), 22465 (10); CAS 42523 (1); MNHN 1978-0766 (1); USNM 219334 (12); ZUMT 54166 (1)].

Type locality: Eastern side off marine laboratory of Univ. of San Carlos, Mactan Island, east of Cebu, Philippines, depth 40 meters.
