Paracanthocobitis aurea (Day, 1872)

Syntypes: BMNH 1889.2.1.1587-1590 (4), ZSI F2574 (1, lost).

Type locality: Jabbalpúr, India.

Etymology: From aurea (= golden), referring to golden-yellow body coloration.
