Oxynoemacheilus chomanicus Kamangar et al., 2014

  • Holotype: FCFUK 176.
  • Paratypes: FCFUK 177-209 (12, 12); ZMMU 23086 (2, 2).

Type locality: Baneh River, (Korhe-Pazi, station 8), Baneh, Kurdistan, Iran, 36°01'03"N, 45°55'20"E [1].

Etymology: The species is named after its distribution area, the Choman basin.
