Name[edit]

  • Holotype: MZB 20031.
  • Paratypes: MZB 20032 (4); MNHN 2010-0034 (4).

Type locality: Jabuenggara Cave on the border of Sewiki Lake, 14 km south of Urisa village in Arguni Bay, northern edge of the anticline of Seraran in the limestone karst of Lengguru, Kaimana, West Papua Province, Indonesia, 3°19.424'S, 133°44.798'E [1].

Etymology: The species is named colasi, in honour of the COLAS Companies in Indonesia which sponsored, among others, the Lengguru-Kaimana expedition in October-November 2010.
