  • Holotype: UIMNH 25069 (formerly EHT-HMS 23614), adult ♀, collected by E.H. Taylor on 7 September 1940.
  • Type locality: “38 km northwest of Ciudad Maíz [circa 22°30′N, 99°56′W], San Luis Potosí (Km 192)”, Mexico.
