Owstonia kamoharai Endo, Liao & Matsuura, 2015

Holotype: NSMT-P 109686. Paratypes: (5): BSKU 41466, 42457, 74538; FAKU 98751; NSMT-P 114189.

Type locality: Mimase fish market, off Kan-no-ura, Tohyoh Town (northeast of Cape Murotomisaki), Kochi, Shikoku I., Japan, offshore bottom trawl, 200 m depth.

Etymology: Named after the late Dr. Toshiji Kamohara (1901–1972) of Kochi University (Okamura 1972), who greatly contributed to the taxonomy of the Cepolidae.
