- Holotype: ZRC.2.5153, adult ♀, collected by T.M. Leong and K.M. Crane on 16 July 2001.
- Type locality: “in primary forest along the Tekek-Juara trail, ca. 150 m asl., Pulau Tioman (Pahang, Peninsular Malaysia)”.
