Notes

The name Oenothera × casimiri is sometimes used for true breeding populations with O. biennis as female parent, while Oenothera × rubricauloides is used for true breeding populations with O. rubricaulis as the female parent, excluding other reciprocal hybrids. (Rostański & Karlsson 2008).
