- Type locality: “Parque Nacional Cerro Saslaya (along the trail from "Las Guardiolas" to "El Revenido"), 13642.89N, 85601.99W, 724 m above sea level (a.s.l.), Region Autonoma Atlantico Norte, Nicaragua”.
