  • Holotype: QCAZ 41572, adult ♂, collected by Juan M. Guayasamin and Elicio Tapia on 8 April 2009.
  • Type locality: “Miazi Alto (4.25044° S, 78.61356° W; 1200 m), Cordillera del Cóndor, Provincia de Zamora Chinchipe, Ecuador”.
