Name[edit]

Nothobranchius annectens Watters, Wildekamp & Cooper, 1998

  • Holotype: MRAC 97-82-P-22. Paratypes MRAC 97-82-P-23-26 (4).
  • Type locality: 5.5 kilometers south of Kitonga, pool in a ditch on western side of the road from Rufiji River Ferry, in Rufiji River floodplain, Tanzania.
  • Only known from three restricted locations. Restricted distribution makes it more vulnerable to local habitat degradation. [IUCN, 2006]
