Nansenia boreacrassicauda Poulsen, 2015

  • Holotype: ZMUC P192172.
  • Paratypes: ZMH 122532 (ISH 174-1986), 120802 (ISH 968-1982), 122530 (ISH 264-1986), 122553 (ISH 201-1986), 120833 (ISH 967-1982).

Type locality: Subarctic Atlantic, 65°32'N, 30°57'W.

Etymology: Species derivative originating from Latin boreas (= Subarctic or to the north) referring to distribution of type materials, from Latin crassus (= fat, stout) and Latin cauda (= tail), referring to the stubby caudal peduncle.
