- Holotype: AMNH 163686, adult ♀, collected by Nguyen Quang Truong on 19 March 1999.
- Type locality: “Mount Ngoc Linh, Tra My District, Tra Don Commune, Quang Nam Province (15°10′42″ N, 108°2′32″ E, elevation 1480 m)”, Vietnam.
