Mystus menoni Plamoottil & Abraham, 2013

  • Holotype: ZSI/FF 4628.
  • Paratypes: UFRJ 5644 (1), 5677 (1), 5397 (23), 5398 (28), 5405 (6), 5624 (31), 8432 (5), 5687 (10).
  • Type locality: Manimala River at Elankadu [1], Kerala, India.
  • Etymology: The species is named after Dr. A. G. K. Menon, the eminent scientist of Zoological Survey of India, who contributed much to the taxonomy of fresh water fishes of India.
