Name[edit]

Monotocheirodon pearsoni Eigenmann 1924

  • Lectotype: CAS 59792.
    • Lectotype designated by Menezes et al. (2013)
  • Paralectotypes: CAS 233970 (6), UMMZ 66484 (4), 66485 (5).

Type locality: Río Beni basin, confluence of Ríos La Paz and Miquilla where they form Río Bopi near Espia, 16°33’S, 67°51’W [1].

Etymology: The specific name is dedicated to N. E. Pearson.
