- Neotype: ZSI/SRS/V/A/362, adult ♀, collected by T.S.N. Murthy on 7 March 1967. [designated by Ganesh, Dutta & Chandramouli (2017: 108)]
- Type locality: “inundated paddy-fields and meadows [of peninsular India]”, redesignated by neotype designation to “Selaiyur Lake in Madras”, India.
