- Holotype: TNHM (H) 12.6.18.69, adult ♂, collected by B.R. Ansil on 18 May 2012.
- Type locality: “from bushes at the periphery of a temple compound, Arippa (8.8392N, 77.0314E, altitude approximately 184m ASL), near Kulathupuzha Reserve Forest, Kollam district, Kerala, India”.
- Paratypes (n=2): TNHM (H) 12.6.18/70 and TNHM (H) 12.6.18/74, two adult ♂, collected by Robin K. Abraham on 12 July 2012, from the type locality.
