Holotype: Brian Wysor; 20 May 2009; growing intertidally on synthetic plastic among rubble. US Alg. Coll. 211334 (=PHYCOS-2613) including US Algal Collection slides nos. -8611 thru-8614. Isotype: WNC32156. Herbarium sheets and permanent slides.
