Holotype: NMZB 14846, adult ♀, collected by Pam Cunneyworth on 20 February 1996.

Type locality: “Kambai Forest Reserve (04º59’ S: 38º41’ E), Muheza District, Tanga Region, Tanzania at 580 m”.
