• Type locality: Hou Wan, Kenting National Park, Pintung County, southern Taiwan (22º02.79'N, 120º42.14'E).
• Holotype: S.-M. Lin; 2002-02-07; 2-3 m deep. NTOU NTOU-HW-07ii2002-Mmul-1 (Lin et al. 2013: 180, fig. 13).
