- Holotype: VNUF R.2015.20 (field number: TK 20.15), adult ♂, collected by Vinh Quang Luu and Thomas Calame on 4 April 2015.
- Type locality: “in the karst forest, at the mouth of a cave, Phou Hin Poun NPA, Hinboun District, Khammouane Province, central Laos, at an elevation of 167 m a.s.l.”
