Holotype: FML, 24169.
Type locality: Sierra Colorada, on Provincial Route 212, km 23 in route to Los Menucos, Río Negro Province, 40°32 ́54.5" S 67°37 ́10.4 W".
Etymology: Dedicated to the French naturalist and zoologist André Marie Constant Duméril (1774-1860).
