Type locality: Eilat, north beach, Gulf of Aqaba (Gulf of Eilat), northern Red Sea, Israel, 29° 32′ 41″ N 34° 58′ 22″ E, 0 –1.2 m depth, D. GOLANI, 9 Mar. 2010.

Paratypes : All from Eilat, north beach, Gulf of Aqaba (Gulf of Eilat), northern Red Sea, Israel, 29° 32′ 41″ N 34° 58′ 22″ E, 0 –1.2 m depth (total 21 specimens).
