Name
[edit]Janusia A.Juss., Ann. Sci. Nat., Bot. sér. 2, 13: 250. (1840) / et Gen. Pl. [Endlicher] 1058. (1840)
- Type species: Janusia guaranitica A.Juss., Ann. Sci. Nat., Bot. sér. 2, 13: 251. (1840)
Synonyms
[edit]- Heterotypic
Note:: Govaerts et al. (2020) prefer to maintain a synonymy with Cottsia Dubard & Dop, Rev. Gén. Bot. 20: 359. (1908), however, this would require the whole janusioid clade to be treated as one genus, in which case the name would have to be Aspicarpa (1815) Art 11.3 (Anderson & Davis, 2007).
