[edit]This section was very tentatively placed under subg. Sathrochlamys Bremek., Bull. Jard. Bot. Buitenzorg, sér. 3, 14: 207 (1937), but subgenera of Ixora turned out to be not worth supporting (vide Mouly et al. 2009).
