Type locality: Lower BURMA. District Myaungmya: Labwuta.

  - Note: there exists a blocking name Ixora roxburghii Kuntze, Revis. Gen. Pl. 1: 286 (1891).
  - Typus: non designatus.
  - Type locality: Burma. In the tropical forests along the eastern slopes of the Pegu Yomah and from Martaban[Mottama] down to Tenasserim[Tanintharyi].
