Ischnura rurutana Englund & Polhemus, 2010

Type locality: French Polynesia, Austral Islands, Rurutu, Puputa Stream, above Moerai Town, from watertanks at 64 m. elevation, 22.45016ºS, 151.35100ºW.

Holotype: BPBM. male ♂. BPBM-FP 1490, 23.XI.2003. R.A. Englund.
