Type locality: Warisaka, Kurumaji, Ube, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan.

Holotype: KUHE OU 0391

Synonyms[edit]

Etymology: "“bakan” refers to the old name of Shimonoseki in Yamaguchi Prefecture, where the new species occurs" [Matsui et al., 2019: 60 f.]
