  • Paratypes: CMFR/PFD 313.3, 313.5, 313.6, 313.7, 281.4, 281.5.

Type locality: North-Eastern Arabian Sea, 19° 53’ N, 69° 23’E, 371 m depth.

Etymology: The word nudus in Greek meaning “bare” and refers to absence of scales on the body.
