Glyptothorax pantherinus Anganthoibi & Vishwanath, 2013

  • Holotype: MUMF 10047.
  • Paratypes: MUMF 10048-10051 (4).

Type locality: Noa Dehing River, Brahmaputra River basin, Deban-Namdapha, Changlang district, Arunachal Pradesh, India, 27°30'03"N, 96°23'21"E [1].

Etymology: The specific name pantherinus is derived from the Latin panthera (= leopard). The name refers to the presence of a prominent mottled skin.
