Holotype: WAM R161461, adult ♂, collected by A.H. Burbidge and C. Stevenson on 1 October 2005.

Type locality: “47.5 km east–south-east of Goldsworthy, site PHYC03 of the Pilbara Biodiversity Survey (20º25′41′′S, 119º58′10′′E), WA”.
