Garra gotyla (Gray 1830)

  • Holotype: Figure in Gray 1830: Pl. 88 (fig. 3)
  • Neotype: MUMF 4300.
    • Neotype designated by Nebeshwar & Vishwanath, 2013; neotype designation prob. not neccessary.

Type locality: Originally: Mountain stream, northern India. Neotype: India, Sikkim, Tista River at Rangpo (Ganga basin), 27°10'43"N, 88°32'10"E [1].
