Placocheilus caudofasciatus (Pellegrin & Chevey, 1936)

  • Holotype (unique): MNHN 1935-0327.

Type locality: Noire [Song Da] River at Lai Chau, Black River, Vietnam.

Etymology: From cauda (= tail), and fasciata (= banded), referring to two dark, semicircular marks on middle of each lobe of caudal fin. (From The ETYFish project)
