Name[edit]

Garra arunachalensis Nebeshwar & Vishwanath, 2013

  • Holotype: MUMF 4304.
  • Paratypes: MUMF 4305/4 (4); RGUMF 0190/5 (5).

Type locality: India, Arunachal Pradesh, Lower Divang valley district, Deopani River at Roing (Brahmaputra basin), 29°09'35"N, 95°54'08"E [1].

Etymology: The species is named after Arunachal Pradesh, the state in which it is distributed.
