Holotype: MNHN -IU-2013-13217, ♂, 16 April 2009.
Type locality: Mozambique. MAINBAZA, Stn DW3168, 26°11.93’S, 35°02.85’E, 87–90 m.
Etymology: The name Erudanus, the River, refers to one of the southern constellations.
